Project 351 ambassadors Carly Drew, Maeve Geraghty and Sean Lally will be collecting donations for military personnel during a collection drive in September.

The drive will take place from 10 a.m.-noon on September 2, at Old Rochester Regional Junior High School. Items collected will be sent to the Massachusetts Military Heroes Fund, to create care packages for local veterans, as well as veterans deployed abroad.

The Massachusetts Military Heroes Fund provides support, programs, and services to the families of fallen military service personnel from Massachusetts, who gave their lives after September 11, 2001.

The fund is seeking the following:

Instant powdered drink mixes (single serve or travel size only); instant coffee (not decaf); instant powdered creamer; lemonade; Gatorade; bubble gum and chewing gum. All donated items must be in solid/powder form, as liquids cannot be shipped abroad.
