A concert featuring 'Fairy Tales, Witches and Wizards' on June 8

The Tri-County Symphonic Band’s 12th Annual Benefit Pops Concert will be held at 3 p.m. on June 8 at Tabor Academy’s Fireman Performing Arts Center.

The program, called “Fairy Tales, Witches and Wizards” will highlight music from stories, fables and scary films. Tickets cost $25 and can be purchased at the door. All proceeds from the concert will benefit the Tri-County Music Association’s John R. Pandolfi Scholarship Fund. For more information, visit www.tricountysymphonicband.org.

On the same day, a memorial service will be held for Pandolfi in Tabor Academy’s Wickenden Chapel at 1 p.m. Pandolfi founded the Tri-County Symphonic Band in 1962. He served as music director until 1987. He passed away at the age of 83 in December.
