Learn to prepare an easy meal for Valentine's Day at the Mattapoisett Library on Tuesday, Feb. 7 from 6-8 p.m. Karen Covey will lead a free cooking demonstration and will share recipes.

Covey, a Mattapoisett resident, is the founder and publisher of The Coastal Table, a food and lifestyle journal. She is also the author of “The Coastal Table: Recipes Inspired by the Farmlands and Seaside of Southern New England.” Currently, she works as a recipe developer and instructor.
