The Mattapoisett Recreation Department and Kitchen and Bath Details are offering a number of cooking classes for all ages beginning January 16.

Adults are invited to register for Oriental Cooking with Instructor Jadine Loo-Dixon, a two night hands-on introduction to Cantonese Cuisine cooking. Classes are scheduled for January 16 and 23, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Kitchen and Bath Details on Route 6.

On January 17, instructor Karen Covey will lead a Kids Who Cook class that will teach children to make “soups and sammies.” The class is from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

There will also be a Valentine’s Day cookie decorating class as well as other cooking courses coming up.
