The Cooks and Books group of the Mattapoisett Free Public Library will host Marco Montez of Travessia Urban Winery on Tuesday, April 3 at 7 p.m.

Montez, owner of the winery in downtown New Bedford will talk about "Local Wine: Is It Really?" The scope and potential of local wines of the region will be discussed, and a tasting will be available for adults.  The event is open to the public. The library is located at 7 Barstow Street in Mattapoisett.
