Costumed kids march in MAC Halloween parade

The Marion Art, Center held its annual Halloween parade on Monday afternoon, with participants flooding the streets in the village.

Led by the Sippican School Styxx Drum Corps and the witches of the Marion Art Center, the parade featured hundredes of kids dressed up in costumes ranging from Star Wars characters to video game heroes to favorite foods, such as french fries and donuts.

"There's nobody ever watching the parade because everyone is walking in it," Marion Art Center board member Trudy Kingery said.

After the parade through the village, kids are invited back to the art center for goody bags.
