Celebrate May at the Mattapoisett Free Public Library with dance educator Kay Hanley Alden.

Children ages seven through 10 are invited on Wednesday, April 24, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:25 p.m., to learn how to create a Maypole. This historic tradition celebrates the return of spring.

On Wednesday, May 1, from 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m, the library's first Maypole will be presented on the lawn. The presentation includes dances, coordinated movement, and music. Please register your child by calling 508-758-4171.
