Create a paper dragon with the Mattapoisett Free Public Library

Oct 26, 2020

MATTAPOISETT — Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) Projects To Go brings will offer projects related to aeronautics, or the study of flight, this November.

STEAM Projects To Go are created for busy teens, grades 6 to 12, who still want to engage with library programming and their community.

The main project will be a paper dragon in the form of a glider. There will also be extension projects for teens who want to take it further.

Each Steam Project To Go includes supplies needed for the project, instructions, information about the theme, a library book related to the theme, and ideas for more projects.

Register at mattapoisettlibrary.org or by calling the library. Registration is open until the end of November.

Those who register will be contacted to arrange pick up. If there are no spots left, those interested may register for the waiting list.

Please contact Michelle Skaar at mskaar@sailsinc.org or call the library for more information. All programs are free and open to the public.
