Creek Road construction to cause traffic delays and limited access

MARION — Construction to install two water valves near the intersection of Creek Road and Point Road will begin on Wednesday, March 19 and it is expected to cause traffic delays until its expected completion on Friday, March 21.
Marion residents are advised to “seek alternate routes” until the construction is completed.
Access to the Creek Road bike path will also be limited during construction.
The town also warns that “unannounced disruptions in water services” could possibly affect residents while construction takes place.
Low water pressure and discolored water may occur. If you see discoloration in your tap water, it is recommended to run the cold water until the stream appears clear.
