The Mattapoisett Cub and Boy Scouts will host a Campfire Day on Saturday, Oct. third from 1-3p.m. at Dunseith Gardens on the corner of North Street and Route 6. Boys and girls of all ages are welcome to participate and learn about fire building and about the Cub Scouts (grades 1-5) and Boy Scouts (grades 6-12) of Mattapoisett. There will be demonstrations of different fire-building techniques as well as fire-building activities for all scout-aged participants.
