MARION — Cocktails by the Sea, the Marion Art Center’s premier summer fund-raiser, returns on Friday, July 29 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at 1 West Drive in Marion. 

The waterfront event will include a silent auction, open bar, light hors d’oeuvres, live music and other events. Tickets are $95 per person and will go on sale in late May.  

The art center seeks contributions for the silent auction to be held at the event. The fundraising committee is calling for high-quality donations, including artwork, jewelry, antique or unique items, experience packages, gift baskets, and other items.

The event hosts are: David and Nancy Corkery. Corporate sponsors are: American Research & Management, Cape Cod 5, Eastern Bank, Burr Bros. Boats, Inc., Passerine Pottery by Nancy Skawinski, and Converse Company Real Estate. 

All fund-raiser proceeds benefit the center’s ongoing operations, programming, and community outreach. Donations of any size to the summer fundraiser are welcome from those who cannot attend the event.
