MATTAPOISETT — The Friends of the Mattapoisett Library will host its annual jewelry and accessory sale on Saturday, Nov. 18 from 10 am to 2 p.m. Friends members will be able to shop at a preview sale on Friday, Nov. 17.

Leading up to the event, the friends are soliciting donations of unwanted jewelry and accessories. All kinds of jewelry and accessories will be accepted including gloves, purses, hats, pins, charms, scarves and hair clips. Ideally, jewelry and accessories should be in good condition and clean. Donations can be brought to the Mattapoisett Library throughout October and the beginning of November.

The Friends are also accepting book donations for a sale to be held on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Donations of books can be dropped off at the library when the library is open. Do not leave books or jewelry outside when the library is closed or put into the book returns.
