Mattapoisett Fire responded to a call early Sunday afternoon at 108 Fairhaven Road concerning a downed tree in front of a home. According to the Fire Department, the incident occurred this morning and the homeowners were not at the house.

The cause of the fallen tree was not known. A crew from NSTAR utilities were also on the scene to cut power from the live wires ruptured in the incident as well.
