Downton Abbey fans at the Mattapoisett COA take a trip

MATTAPOISETT — The Mattapoisett Council on Aging hosted a trip to experience the Downton Abbey Exhibition in Boston. A group of twenty-four from Mattapoisett and the surrounding towns visited the exhibition, located at the Castle at Park Plaza on July 11.
The exhibit is based on the popular television show starring Laura Carmichel and Hugh Bonneville. Guests are transported to post-Edwardian England and experience the culture, history, and fashion from the show.
The exhibition is currently in Boston until September and will then travel back to it’s home base of Asheville, North Carolina.
