MARION — The Elizabeth Taber Library will hold its 2018 fall fundraiser, Tables of Content, on Nov. 4 and Nov. 16 to benefit the library’s programming and resource expansion.
The fundraiser includes two dinners hosted for in depth discussion of a book, chosen from a selection of literature. Dinner will be served at each event and guests can determine which dinner they attend based on their choice of book.
Guests will choose two books from the list, in order of preference. The list includes: “Educated: A Memoir” by Tara Westover, “Killers of the Flower Moon” by David Grann, and “Bear Town” by Fredrik Backman. Other books on the list are on the library website.
The dinners will begin at 6 p.m. and dietary restrictions should be indicated on the reply form.
Tickets for the event will be sold for $50 at the library or on its website beginning on Sept. 17. The deadline to respond is Oct. 8 and tickets will be limited, but signing up early will ensure a place at the table.
The location for each event has yet to be announced.
