Holiday Cookie Swap - Celebrate the holidays at the library with a cookie exchange. Bring a dozen homemade cookies, and the recipe, to swap with others. Call the library at 508-748-1252 or email eoneill@sailsinc.org to register.
Sunday, Dec. 20, 2 p.m.
Afternoon Book Club - The book club will meet to discuss “The Girl in the Red Coat” by Kate Hamer. The book for the January meeting is “A Tree Grows in Brooklyn” by Betty Smith.
Dec. 23-30
Children’s activities - The library will hold drop-in activity days for children during their Christmas break. Create holiday crafts with instructions and materials available in the children’s room during regular library hours. Learn about Hanukkah and Kwanza while making dreidels, menorahs, quilts, kinaras and place mats, or make snowman puppets, Christmas ornaments or a dove of peace for the New Year.
