Elizabeth Taber Library thanks sponsor and donors for bridge benefit

Aug 10, 2019

To the Editor:

The Elizabeth Taber Library would like to thank all those companies and participants who helped make our Aug. 2 Bridge Benefit so successful. All proceeds from the day’s event will go towards enhancing the programs, services and collection materials offered by the Elizabeth Taber Library during the coming fiscal year.

Close to 50 players joined in the afternoon’s Duplicate and Social games. Director Alan Hudson did a fine job of managing the Duplicate Tournament.

Special thanks are extended to the event’s community sponsor, Kinlin Grover Real Estate. Other local businesses who donated to the raffle include Atlantic Bistro, Autumn Glen, Fieldstone’s Market, Harriet’s Outback, Kate’s Simple Eats, Sippican Tennis Club, and Dr. Ed Hoffer.

We would also like to acknowledge in-kind support from Alan Hudson, Autumn Glen, Beverly Yacht Club, Eden Landscapes, Sippican Tennis Club and Tabor Academy.

Thank you to all the bridge players who came out with great enthusiasm to enjoy themselves while also supporting the library.

The event committee was chaired by Meg Steinberg and included CC Dyer, Kathy Feeney, Susan Mead, Connie Pierce, Kathy Reed, and Philip Tifft. Sincere thanks to the committee for their hard work in organizing, publicizing and carrying out the event.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth Sherry,

Library Director, Elizabeth Taber Library
