Nov 28, 2018

ROCHESTER —The Elks of Wareham Lodge No. 154 would like to congratulate Sophomore Emma Carroll of Rochester for being selected as Student of the Month for October.

Old Rochester Regional High School faculty and staff chose Carroll as the Student of the Month because she is a friendly and outgoing student. Carroll comes into class every day willing to work, with a smile on her face.

Teachers and administrators say that she is incredibly inclusive, reaching out to all students to make sure no one feels left out, and that any group is stronger with Carroll as a member. They add that she is a fantastic student and a pleasure to have in class.

The Elks of Wareham Lodge No. 1548 sponsor the Elks’ Student of the Month and Student of the Year Awards for students enrolled in local area high schools. It looks for students who excel in scholarship, citizenship, performing arts, fine arts, hobbies, athletics, church, school and community service, industry and farming.
