The Marion Recreation Department has a number of new and returning programs and classes this autumn. Read on for more information.

Movie and a Makeover

New this fall, the recreation department will offer Movie and a Makeover Night for girls 7 to 11 years old on Friday, Oct. 3. The girls will have a night of nails, hair styles and facials for $11 per person.

Vacation Fun Days

Vacation Fun Days is back and expanded to include school holidays as well as vacation weeks. When schools are closed on Monday, Oct. 13 there will be a Fun Day at the Atlantis Drive facility. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For a complete list of dates, visit www.marionrecreation.com.

Youth Basketball

Marion Recreation Youth Basketball will hold registration nights on Monday, Sept. 29 and Tuesday, Sept. 30.

Wrestling

After a very successful first season, wrestling returns this fall. The Marconi Station Wrestling Club registration and information Night is Wednesday, Oct. 29.

Turkey Trot

Registration is also open for the 4^th Annual Guard Oil 5k Turkey Trot on Sunday, Nov. 23 at 10:15 a.m. Online registration can be done at 5kturkeytrot.racewire.com or forms can be printed from www.marionrecreation.com or picked up at the recreation department or the Marion Town House.
