Alex Pateakos, a second-grader at Sippican School in Marion has Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1. On September 18, come ride in support of Alex and everyone suffering from SMA at Old Rochester Regional High School on Route 6.

Registration begins at 8 a.m. with a poker run at 10 a.m. and lunch at 1 p.m. There will be music, prizes, raffles and vendors.

The funds are split each year between the Families of SMA and paying for Alex's handicapped van.
