The First Congregational Church of Marion has announced the start of a contemporary worship service.

This informal, abbreviated service begins Saturday, March 5 at 5 p.m. at the Community Center, 144 Front St. (rear of parking lot). Weekly services will be led by a member of the Saturday pastoral team including Dr. Sheila Rubdi, Dale Thackeray and Gary Taylor.

This casual Christian service will have contemporary Christian music, prayer time, personal reflection and weekly communion. Young children and youth are encouraged to worship together with their families. All are welcome.
