The new season of Mattapoisett Recreation flag football is around the corner. Sign up by Aug. 28 to receive an NFL Play 60 Patriots Jersey.

The season will kick off with a free instructional clinic on Sunday, Sept. 11 from 9 to 10 a.m. The regular season runs from Sunday, Sept. 18 through Nov. 6 from 8:30 to 10 a.m.

Mariner Youth Soccer has donated fields for the program, so all sessions will be held at the Mariner Youth Soccer Complex in Fairhaven. The season will end with an under the lights game and pizza party at Old Rochester Regional High School.

This program is open to tri-town and Fairhaven residents. Sign up online at www.mattrec.net or download a registration form and drop it off at the MattRec mailbox at Mattapoisett Town Hall.

MattRec is also offering tennis, golf, yoga, gymnastics and tumbling, crafting, conditioning, drama, girls pre-season basketball clinics and Lego programs this fall.
