Get into the fall spirit with several special events hosted by the Friends of the Mattapoisett Council on Aging.

On September 8, the Friends will host its second annual plant sale from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the lawn of the Mattapoisett Library. Perrennials, houseplants, and small trees will be for sale. A raffle will also be held.

The group will host its Fall Luncheon on September 13 starting at noon at the Knights of Columbus, 57 Fairhaven Road. Free hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries, and ice cream will be served to seniors and members of the Friends of the Mattapoisett Council on Aging.
