Members of the Friends of the Mattapoisett Council on Aging, Inc. and Mattapoisett residents are invited to the Friend’s annual meeting on Saturday, Jan. 17 from 10 a.m. to noon in the meeting room at the Mattapoisett Public Library on Barstow Street.

An informal mixer with cider and donuts will precede the formal meeting followed by a brief presentation by Mattapoisett Police Chief Mary Lyons. Mingle with members of the board of directors and learn more about the group’s activities. Volunteers are welcome.

The annual meeting will feature the election of the board of directors. Nominees must be present and members of the Friends of the Mattapoisett Council of Aging. Membership applications forms will be available. The annual dues are $10.
