The Department of Conservation and Recreation is hosting a "full moon hike" Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 6 p.m.

The hike will start in full light and end by the light of the full moon. Participants will hike through a meadow, along the rocky shoreline, and through forested trails.  Dress for the weather, wear good hiking boots, and bring a flashlight.

For adults and children 8+ who can walk at a moderate to brisk pace for about 2.5 miles.

Rain will cancel.
