Gateway Bulldogs take third place

The 14u Team Gateway Bulldogs came in third place in the New England AAU Championships out of 35 teams. The team also placed second in its division.
The team includes Alec Marsden, Noah Sommers, Ryan Silva, Damon Smead, Owen Cassidy from the tri-town, along with other teammates from outside the tri-town.
The total club record from 9u to 14u was 64 wins and 42 losses. Gateway also had three division champions, second and third place runner ups in New England AAU championships,
and 18 players that were able to make their town All Star teams after not making them the year before.
Gateway is having tryouts for the 2020 season this summer.
The first wave of tryouts for the 2020 season will be at Dexter Field in Rochester.
Tryouts for the 9u team will be held on Saturday July 28 from 10 a.m. to noon. The 14u team will try out on Aug. 3 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m, followed by the 13u team from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Tryouts for the 10u, 11u,12u and 15u teams will be announced soon.
