Gateway Youth Hockey learn to skate, play sessions start Sept. 7

Gateway Youth Hockey’s learn to skate, learn to play sessions begin on Sept. 7. Participants will learn the fundamentals of skating and learn the basics of hockey.

Cost for a 10 week session is $180 or $99 for a five week session. Lessons will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. in Tabor Academy’s skating rink on the following dates: Sept. 7, 14, 21, 28; Oct. 5, 12, 19, 26; Nov. 2, 9.

Learn to skate participants will need: helmet (face cage recommended), gloves or mittens, knee and elbow pads and single blade skates. Learn to play participants will need: helmet with face cage, hockey gloves, chest protector, hockey elbow pads, hockey shorts, hockey shin guards, hockey skates and hockey stick.
