Gateway Youth Hockey will hold re-evaluation/tryouts for returning players as well as new players during the week of Aug. 31 at Hetland Arena, New Bedford. This is an opportunity to join the program and get an idea of where to put teams during the upcoming season.

The schedule is: Monday, Aug. 31, 6:30 p.m. for Mites, children born in 2007 and Squirts, children born in 2005 and 2006; Monday Aug. 31, 7:30 p.m. for Middle School (kids in grades sixth through eight); Wednesday, Sept. 2 at 6 p.m. for PeeWees (kids born in 2003 and 2004); Wednesday, Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. for Bantams (kids born in 2001 and 2002); Friday, Sept. 4 at 7 p.m. for Midgets (kids born between 1997 and 2000).
