Gladiators continue successful season
The Squirts took on the Plymouth Red on Dec. 3 and won, 3-0. Offense was a team effort and Ryan Killion got the shutout in goal. The next day, the team played the Lower Cape Squirt A team in a state play down game. The Gladiators lost 5-0.
The next weekend, the team got back to league play and defeated Plymouth Green 10-2. Patrick Tripp, Kevin Place, Brayden Cannon, Tom Clavell, Ben Habbel and John Goll all scored in the game.
The Pee Wees were back in action on Saturday, winning 7-1. Nathan Ribeiro led the way and scored a hat trick, while Brady Kidney and Ty Rebeiro each added one and Matthew Paling scored twice.
The team was back at it the next morning, beating Pembroke 5-1. Rebeiro scored four of the five goals, with Ribeiro adding the fifth goal. Paling was in net, playing goalie for the first time, and allowed only one goal.
The Bantams also had a successful weekend, beating Weymouth 4-2. Quirino doCanto scored a all four goals to lead the way for the Gladiators. Alex DeMarco was in net and made 14 saves.
