During the month of October, check out a pumpkin at the Elizabeth Taber Library.

Pick up a pumpkin, take it home to decorate, and return it to the library between Oct. 26 and Oct. 28 to enter the Great Pumpkin Contest.

The Great Pumpkin Contest is sponsored by Fieldstone Market.

Then on Thursday, Oct. 27 hear about the Spooky South Coast from Tim Weisberg, who will give a thrilling and chilling program on local legends at 6:30 p.m.

Topics include paranormal vortexes, ghosts, UFOs, cryptids, and true crime in our own backyard. 

Finally, on Oct. 28, the library will host the Great Pumpkin Party from 3 to 5 p.m. There will be pumpkin decorating, spooky book crafts, and more.
