Halloween arrives early at Sippican Health Care

There were no tricks, just treats, for the residents of the Sippican Health Care Center as children arrived in Halloween costumes Tuesday night.
Each year, staff members at the center are invited to bring their children to parade through the center halls and collect candy from residents.
“They look forward to it every year,” said Activities Director Anne O’Connell-Bishop. “It’s a nice chance for the [certified nursing assistants] and their children to interact with everyone.”
Center residents put together goodie bags for the trick-or-treaters and handed out candy in the halls.
While the kids got the candy, residents were delighted to host the young visitors.
“This is a little treat for them, too,” Bishop said.
