Boater owners who tie up dinghies at Mello and Barstow Wharves dinghy docks are being asked to remove their crafts before Oct. 31.

With major realignments of floats scheduled to begin at the waterfront on Nov. 1, Harbormaster Jill Simmons is asking for dinghy owners’ cooperation in removing the small boats. Owners who do not remove their boats from the floats risk having the boats removed at the owner's expense by the Harbormaster's Office, starting on Nov. 1.

The boats may be left at Barstow, Short, and Middle Wharves, weather permitting, until later in November for temporary docking.
