An award-winning barbershop chorus with local ties is coming to Fairhaven Saturday, Nov. 26.

The Harpoon Harmonizers, composed of 31 members from around the South Coast, is performing a holiday show at Fairhaven Town Hall after a successful run at the Northeast District Barbershopping contest last month. The event begins at 7 p.m.

The Harmonizers, directed by Mattapoisett resident Sandy Morgan, is one of the oldest and most active barbershop groups in the region. The Harmonizers and the G20 youth chorus will perform along with a newly formed chapter, Very Large Quarter.
