The Marion Rochester Regional Health District reminds residents that mosquito activity is at its height. The Department of Public Health has reported that mosquitoes infected with West Nile Virus are circulating throughout the state. To avoid bites the health department recommends using mosquito repellent. The department also recommends draining all standing water.
