Henry Fernandes Jr. of Bellingham, Washington, formerly of Marion, died Aug. 10.

He was the husband of Joyce Fernandes. He was the son of the late Henry Fernandes Sr. and Mary (Britte) Fernandes. Survivors include: two daughters; Kimberly Smith of Ellenwood, Georgia and Carla Morris of Glendale, Arizona; two brothers, Manuel Fernandes of South Orange, New Jersey and Steven Fernandes of Buzzards Bay; five sisters, Flora Pina of Glendale, Arizona, Elizabeth (Betty) Walker of Mattapoisett, Jean Barbour of Front Royal, Virginia and Julie Gomes of East Wareham, Nancy Concholar of Phoenix, Arizona and four grandchildren.

Mr. Fernandes was the brother of the late John Teixeira.
