Historical Society to host lecture on British Captain James Cook April 26

The Sippican Historical Society will sponsor a lecture by Marion resident Peter McCormick about his passage in the Australian-built exact replica of “His Majesty’s Bark Endeavour,” the ship in which British Captain James Cook made the first of his three voyages of exploration in the Pacific Ocean between 1768 and 1771.
