Holiday spirit strolls through Marion

The overcast weather that greeted the annual Christmas Stroll on Sunday couldn't put a damper on the holiday spirit.
As soon as Santa arrived at the docks at a quarter passed 3 o'clock, the stroll began. Residents were treated to snacks on nearly every doorstep of local businesses in the Village.
Two of Santa's elves sat at the stoop of Serendipity by the Sea to hand out candy canes to boys and girls as Sippican School band played Christmas carols.
In addition to free hot dogs, popcorn and cookies, residents were treated to entertainment by jugglers, Clydesdale horses and a photo op with Sparky the Firedog of Marion's Ladder 1.
