MARION — Mike Cronin recently shared his rocketry expertise with the Marion Natural History Museum’s afterschool group.

Kids learned about what’s needed for lift-off and propulsion, and how to add the “recovery wadding” and parachute to ensure the rocket doesn’t get damaged.

The kids also counted down and watched each rocket launch.
