Any child born before Sept. 1, 2010 is eligible for enrollment in kindergarten for the 2015-2016 school year. Parents of those children are asked to attend an orientation meeting on Thursday, Jan. 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the Center School cafeteria.

The meeting will highlight the kindergarten program and curriculum and give parents an opportunity to visit a kindergarten classroom. Any questions will also be addressed at this meeting.

In addition, school registration packets will be available to take home to complete. Mattapoisett offers a free full-day kindergarten program.

Kindergarten registration dates are Wednesday, Feb. 11^th from 3 to 5:30 p.m. or on Thursday, Feb. 12^th from 8:45 to 11 a.m. in the cafeteria. In order to have the registration process proceed in a timely manner, parents area asked to bring completed registration packets with them when they attend registration.

Parents with a child born before Aug. 31, 2010 who will not be entering kindergarten and/or will be attending a private kindergarten, should call the Center School office at 508-758-2521.

Anyone who knows of a child who is eligible to enter kindergarten that did not receive this information in the mail, is asked have them contact the School.
