Plumb Library’s nonfiction book group will discuss “Last Child in the Woods: Saving Our Children from Nature-Deficit Disorder” by Richard Louv on Thursday, April 17 at 6:30 p.m.

Louv’s book is connects a children’s direct exposure to nature with their physical and emotional development. New additions to the book discuss the lack of nature in children’s lives and the rise in obesity, attention disorders and depression.
