Latin-American music at Marion Concert Band Aug. 12

The Marion Concert Band will present a concert of Latin-American music on Friday, Aug. 12. To add to the festive atmosphere of the evening, the audience is invited to wear tropical or Latin-American attire. The program will feature long-time member, music teacher and piccolo player Elaine Baker-D'Angelo in “Piccolo Espagnol” by J. Christensen.

The concert, under the direction of Tobias Monte, will begin at 7 p.m. at the Robert Broomhead Bandstand, Island Wharf off Front Street. All concerts are free and open to the public.
