The League of Women Voters that was set to be held on April 30 has been cancelled due to coronavirus concerns.

Amongst those running for office in Marion, contested races include the Board of Selectmen, Assessor and Planning Board.

Joseph Zora Jr. will be running against incumbent Selectman Norm Hills for a position on the Board of Selectmen and against incumbent Assessor Patricia DeCosta.

Zora, along with Edwin M. North and Barry Gaffey, will run against incumbent Planning Board members Eileen Marum, Christopher Collins and Selectman Norm Hills.
