MATTAPOISETT — On Oct. 24 at 3 p.m. children can learn about bats at a STEAM session at the library.

Little ones will use games and activities to explore echolocation. The event, which is recommended for age 5 and up, includes snacks and a craft.

Parents should register for the event.
