MARION — The Sippican Historical Society will be hosting a lecture via Zoom on Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. by Wendy Goodwin, who will take guests through the 121 year history Cape Cod Shipbuilding Company with photos and stories. 

Located on the Wareham River, this historic yard has evolved from building wooden pleasure boats, 100’ ferries and 40’ tug boats, to becoming a premier builder of nationally popular racing and pleasure craft. 

Goodwin will walk guests through the history of the company with a focus on the boats in her home port of Marion.
