Learn about electricity aggregation in Marion on April 27

Apr 24, 2015

Should residents vote yes at the May 11 Annual Town Meeting, Marion will join the Southeast Regional Planning and Economic Development District’s (SRPEDD) community electricity aggregation program.

Residents are invited to attend the Marion Energy Management Committee meeting on Monday, April 27 at 7 p.m. in the Music Hall to learn more about the program, which should help reduce electrical bills on an annual basis.

Representatives from SRPEDD and from Good Energy (the firm selected by competitive bid to manage the program) will make a presentation and answer questions.

The SRPEDD Community Electricity Aggregation is a voluntary program. All participants will have the ability to opt-out at any time without paying any termination charges.
