MARION — Wendy Todd Bidstrup will host "Life begins at 80 - the extraordinary true story of the life and times of Elizabeth Taber, Marion's mysterious, modest, marvelous benefactress" at the Marion Council on Aging on Monday, Oct. 7 at 12:30 p.m.

Bidstrup is a Marion resident, and will discuss the life of local icon Elizabeth Taber, known for her generosity.

A catered lunch of quiche with a side salad will be served at 11:30 a.m. before the program. Reservations for the lunch are required.
