MARION — An informational meeting about Marion’s new trash and recycling collection services will be held at the Marion Music Hall on Wednesday, Aug. 14 at 6 p.m.

The town will implement a new automated curbside pick up program on Sept. 2. New trash and recycling carts will be delivered to residents starting on Monday, Aug. 26. It will take about a week to deliver all of the carts to residents. Blue carts will be used for single stream recycling, and green carts will be used for household trash.

Trash will be collected every week, and recycling will be collected every other week. Pick-up days will not change from residents’ current collection schedule.
