MATTAPOISETT — The Mattapoisett Library will host a special presentation on  Saturday, Feb. 15 at 1 p.m., in recognition of the 100th anniversary of the passing of the 19th Amendment. The Boston Women’s Heritage Trail will present on the history of the suffrage movement in Massachusetts.

Attendees will travel through the streets of Boston learning about the greatest influencers and events of the suffrage movement. Presenters will speak about the arrest of suffragists during President Wilson’s visit to Boston in 1919, the 1915 suffrage parade, and Lucy Stone, Alice Stone Blackwell, Julia Ward Howe and others.
