NOTICE OF A PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL MEETING

A Public Informational Meeting will be held by MassDOT to discuss the proposed Corridor Improvements and Related Work on Main Street, Water Street, Beacon Street and Marion Road project in Mattapoisett, MA.

PURPOSE: The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public with the opportunity to become fully acquainted with the proposed Corridor Improvements and Related Work on Main Street, Water Street, Beacon Street and Marion Road project. All views and comments made at the meeting will be reviewed and considered to the maximum extent possible.

PROPOSAL: The proposed project consists of the reconstruction of Main Street, Water Street, Beacon Street and Marion Street between Acushnet Road and Route 6 (a total distance of approximately 1.54 miles). The project will include construction of new concrete sidewalks, varying in width from 5 feet to 11 feet wide, on at least one side of the roadway for the entire project length.

This location is accessible to people with disabilities. MassDOT provides reasonable accommodations and/or language assistance free of charge upon request (including but not limited to interpreters in American Sign Language and languages other than English, open or closed captioning for videos, assistive listening devices and alternate material formats, such as audio tapes, Braille and large print), as available. and to all persons entitled to the benefit of the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act: 50 U.S.C. c. 50 § 3901 (et seq):

claiming to have an interest in a Mortgage covering real property in Rochester, numbered 54 Vaughan Hill Road, given by Kenneth A. Viera and Theresa Viera to Bank of America, N.A., dated December 6, 2019, and recorded at Plymouth County Registry of Deeds in Book 52101, Page 197, has/have filed with this court a complaint for determination of Defendant’s/Defendants’ Servicemembers status.

If you now are, or recently have been, in the active military service of the United States of America, then you may be entitled to the benefits of the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act. If you object to a foreclosure of the above-mentioned property on that basis, then you or your attorney must file a written appearance and answer in this court at Three Pemberton Square, Boston, MA 02108 on or before July 15, 2024 or you may lose the opportunity to challenge the foreclosure on the grounds of noncompliance with the Act.
