Lena (Veiga) Pina, 85, of Marion died Monday, April 16 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Albin R. Pina, Sr.

Born in Framingham, the daughter of the late Manuel Veiga and Julia DeBarros, she lived in Marion for over 60 years. Mrs. Pina was a supervisor for Marian Heath Greeting Cards in Wareham. She was also a member of the Benjamin D. Cushing V.F.W. Women’s Auxiliary in Marion.

She is survived by her children, Donna Andrews and her husband, Peter, Jr. of Wareham; Linda Christian and her husband Martin of Randolph; David A. Pina and his wife Suzanne of N. Smithfield, RI and Albin R. (Sonny) Pina, Jr. and his wife Dawn Strothers-Pina of Onset; her sister, Amelia Youngblood of New Bedford; her step-brother, John DeBarros, Jr.; two step-sisters, Jeannette Barboza and Charlotte Williams; six grandchildren, Christopher Andrews, David A. Pina, Jr., Lydia Russo, Glenn W. Pina, Shevona Pina and Tyvonne Bermudez and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, the late Joseph Veiga and Manuel Veiga, Jr.; her sister, the late Rose Veiga and her step-sisters, the late May Gonzales and Betty Barros.

Her funeral services will be private.
